While summer is in full swing, we at The Munshine Group know many nonprofits are busier than ever right now, working to carry out their mission, raising the money needed now and in the future, and getting their message out — especially to donors and potential supporters.  On top of all that, July 1st marked the start of a new fiscal year for a lot of nonprofit organizations.

The Munshine Group is also in full swing, busy and energized by a series of recent events including the launch of our new website!  We hope you’ll take some time to check it out, and that you like what you see.

We’re also excited by all those we met and all that we learned and shared at AFP’s Fundraising Day in New York in late June.  Our team had a chance to talk with staffers from dozens of nonprofits, who shared the challenges their organizations are facing.  A few clear themes emerged for us at FRDNY, as we discussed fundraising, communications, strategy and implementation needs.

Megan Leitheiser, our Vice President of Development Communications, heard a familiar situation with nonprofits across various sectors.  She says, “Many with small development staffs shared that they are simply stretched too thin and could use support with their communications.  What a great feeling to be able to share with them that The Munshine Group is equipped and ready to come alongside them to help meet and exceed their goals.”

Tonya Addy, a Senior Vice President at The Munshine Group, connected with many fundraisers who shared their concerns about communicating with one voice both inside and outside their organization.  We pride ourselves on taking just that kind of unified approach, and Tonya and all of us had to smile when one fundraiser she’d offered some insights to responded by saying, “I feel like I just had a therapy session!  It sounds like your team can help me, my Executive Director AND our Board.  Where do I sign up?”

Our team would welcome the opportunity to offer our insights to your nonprofit, and help you aim higher and achieve more.
