We were all very pleased (and grateful!) that so many of you read and enjoyed “Food for Thought,” our collection of favorite quotes about gratitude that we shared at Thanksgiving. We also really appreciated reading the special words that resonate with our own colleagues.

With that in mind, The Munshine Group team wants to mark the end of 2021, with all its challenges and progress, and look ahead to the New Year by sharing our choices for quotes that deal with change, new beginnings and the passage of time. Our wish is that these words help carry you into 2022 with thoughts of hope, togetherness, strength and success.

You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” Jane Goodall
David Munshine, President & CEO

Look to this one day, for it and it alone is life. In the brief course of this day lie all the verities and realities of your existence; the pride of growth, the glory of action, the splendor of beauty. Yesterday is only a dream, and tomorrow is but a vision. Yet each day, well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and each tomorrow, a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this one day, for it and it alone is life.Sanskrit

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you. Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy. Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give the best you’ve got anyway.
In the final analysis, it’s between You and God. It was never between you and them anyway.” – Mother Teresa
Megan Leitheiser, Senior Vice President

When I’m stuck a with day that’s gray and lonely
I just stick out my chin and grin, and say, oh
The sun’ll come out tomorrow
So you gotta hang on ’til tomorrow
Come what may.
