Senior Vice President
When Theresa Forsman joined the nonprofit sector in 2002, she brought with her the information-gathering and persuasive story-telling skills that she had honed as a professional journalist. These skills, as well as her interest in both big-picture strategic planning and the day-to-day work of carrying out the plan, are the keys to her success in nonprofit fundraising and stewardship.
She is experienced in creating the infrastructure and tools that not only help organizations reach their current goals, but that give them a foundation for future success. Her background includes training staff to carry out effective fundraising and communications. Before joining The Munshine Group, Theresa was Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, where she increased corporate and foundation income by more than tenfold.
Theresa has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and continuing education at schools including Harvard University. She is editor of the Ethical Culture Review of Books and a former board member of the Ethical Culture Society.
