Senior Vice President
Maureen is a seasoned, results-driven development professional who is passionate about helping nonprofits and higher education institutions advance their missions and meet their fundraising goals. Maureen’s experience as a fundraiser, strategist, marketing and management professional covers many key nonprofit sectors including, education, human services and the arts. She is a proven team leader who is effective in building and sustaining relationships with everyone from volunteers to boards.
Most recently, Maureen served as a Major Gift Officer with The Seeing Eye, Inc., in Morristown, New Jersey. Prior to that, she served as the Senior Director of Development at the Rutgers Business School, Newark and New Brunswick with the Rutgers University Foundation where she was successful in completing a $50 million campaign goal at RBS as part of the Rutgers University Foundation’s $1 billion campaign, the largest in the history of the university.
In addition to her career in the nonprofit sector, Maureen worked as a Vice President of Global Organization Learning and Performance for Instinet Corporation, and was a Senior Vice President/Director of Training and Marketing for the Instinet division of Lynch, Jones & Ryan. She served on the Securities Industry Association’s Continuing Education Committee, in association with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Professional affiliations and memberships include the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the National Association of Professional Women, the Council for the Support and Advancement of Education, and the New Jersey Network of Women Leaders.
Maureen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a Certificate in Women’s Studies from Rutgers University, and a Master of Science in Management with a focus on organizational leadership from Thomas Edison State University.
